Initial Discussion and Position Specification
Initial discussions are essential in developing a solid understanding of the assignment as well as the best strategy for executing the search. We conduct meetings with key client executives in order to better understand specific aspects of the company, culture, organizational dynamics and the specific requirements for the position. Based upon these discussions, we create a position description for the assignment which summarizes our understanding of the responsibilities and ideal qualifications surrounding the role.
Candidate Identification and Recruitment Process
We derive the search strategy and target companies based upon the criteria established in the position specification. Through the employment of our research capabilities, we go through a systematic process of identifying potential candidates and sources and contact the appropriate individuals. We have a proprietary database of medical device and life sciences executives and have invested in software and selected industry memberships which further increase our reach. As conversations with prospective candidates evolve to expressions of interest, we provide further client information and engage in more detailed discussions. We interview the prospects that appear to be most suitable and evaluate them based on specific competencies and interpersonal criteria that we have previously defined. We explore previous work experience for a demonstrated track record of success and achievement. Subsequently, we discuss our recommendations and arrange interviews with our client.
Referencing, Offer and Close
At the point when mutual interest is demonstrated between our client and a specific candidate, we solicit a list of professional references and contact these individuals in order to substantiate our assessment. Additionally, we verify educational credentials. Once a final candidate has been selected, we serve as the intermediary to facilitate a successful completion of the search. We provide recommendations on compensation, offer presentation and negotiation of other items that emerge.
